Since its inception in 2004 the Simulated Patient Resource has developed into a stand alone project.

The present team consists of:

Iain Wilkinson
Manager

Iain was instrumental in setting up the project in 2004 and has managed the resource for much of its lifetime. He is responsible for the development and delivery of the project. His role includes liasing with clients to ensure their needs are fully met, developing new products, as well as an involvement in marketing and evaluating the project.

Fiona Dudley
Research and Development

Fiona is responsible for the recruitment and training of SPs. She also writes the material for workshops and training sessions for healthcare professionals. Fiona is also responsible for taking the lead on researching the benefits of SPs as a training methodology.

Alison Kitch
Project Coordinator

Alison is responsible for casting the simulated patients in suitable roles and for ensuring that they receive all necessary information. Alison also organises recruitment events and training days.
